Recipe FAQs

How do I knead the dough properly?

Knead the dough on a floured surface for 8–10 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic. This develops the gluten for a soft texture.

Can I add herbs to the rolls?

Yes, adding dried herbs like rosemary or thyme to the dough before kneading enhances the flavor beautifully.

What is the best way to ensure a golden crust?

Brush the rolls with melted butter before baking and immediately after removing them from the oven for a rich, golden finish.

Can these rolls be made dairy-free?

Substitute whole milk with plant-based milk and butter with vegan margarine to make the rolls dairy-free without compromising texture.

How should I store leftover rolls?

Wrap leftover rolls tightly and freeze them. Rewarm in the oven before serving to restore freshness.
